Histograms Demistified
We all know there is some great information on the Net for us photographers. Take a read of Will Crockets article on www.Shootsmarter.com. He goes into great detail in how to read the Histogram and even points out some clever techniques to get the perfect exposures in portrait photography.

It's a terrific article give it a read.

The Jonas Bonus!
OK, this is a bit of a commercial, but it is still a good thing. Every time I put on my workshop, I ask my friend Michael Jonas if he would like to come down and help out. Well, the good news is that he said yes for our Spring'04 Workshop - April 26-30, 2004.

Michael has been intimately involved with ProShots since the very early days - heck, he even wrote the manual for the program. He is a great asset to the workshop as he knows computers. He knows ProShots. And he is a terrific digital shooter. We are glad to have him be part of the week. Thanks, Michael!

Cool New Software
I'v been looking for a great piece of software for over two years that would let me create DVDs from my ProShots digital wedding images. Well, the BEST on the market is from Memories On TV 2.0. All the reviewers give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Never have I seen a program that creates such a mesmerizing DVD product for our clients. We sell the DVD for $325 nearly 100% of the time. This past Christmas, we had one bride purchase 7 COPIES - granted, extra copies are a lot less. But what a great add on sale for the digital studio!

I'll be demonstrating how to create and market those DVD's at my Workshop starting April 26-30. I give you some tips and tricks on how to get the most from that great little program. This software even opens up many marketing possibilities for your studio as well.
